Environmental Policy

We purchase our materials from local wholesalers and carry a good stock of regularly installed items to reduce trips to purchase materials.

Wherever possible UK manufactured products are used when its not possible thought is put into the carbon footprint of that product before it is chosen. 

Preferred brands used;

Containment: Marshall Tuffex
Outlets: MK electric where specified or Hager (made in France) if a cheaper alternative is required
Fixings: Linian and D line
Cables: Doncaster cables, Priysmian group
Alarms: Aico (made in Ireland)

Lighting:

Many light fittings are now being made with integrated, non replaceable light sources. With no serviceable parts these lights often have to be fully replaced if they develop a fault.

We will strive wherever possible to install fittings with changeable bulbs to ensure the longevity of the light and reduce the waste involved in replacing integrated fittings when they reach the end of their life.
